Storybook
There is something about story. Stories matter.
The stories that we tell ourselves matter. The stories that we tell others matter. As Madeleine L’Engle writes, “Our truest responsibility to the irrationality of the world is to paint or sing or write, for only in such response do we find the truth.”
Not only do the stories that we tell matter, but the stories that we live matter. Yet, more often than not, the stories we see framed are stories where success matters more than anything, and that success is defined in very narrow terms – power, control, money and fame.
The stories you see here real stories. These stories are less about success and more about lives lived with purpose and passion. Again, they don’t manipulate us, don’t force us, don’t distract us from life, but rather they show us a spacious world in which God creates and saves and blesses.
